*This site is under development, and while we are leaving it open to the public, is is not “public ready." It began as a place to easily share things with teachers at our cottage school and then with various education groups, and has grown from there. Our goal, God willing, is to complete as much as possible so that it can be more easily utilized (as a free resource for Orthodox families, schools, and parishes). How long this will take is unclear, though we are organizing a team to ideally be able to “soft launch” a Cycle 1 schedule for the fall of 2026. This will likely begin as full booklists, schedules, and Catechesis and Enrichment plans (as a “phase 1”). Then over time (phase 2, if you will), we would like to collaborate within the Orthodox community to develop more in-depth materials such as full lesson plans and lessons, accompanying resources, student materials, introductions to books and topics by Orthodox subject-matter experts, etc.
If you are interested in contributing to this project, please reach out at orthodoxformation@gmail.com or see here. Additionally, we would love to hear what resources would be most helpful to your families, communities, or parishes.
“It is not the amount of learning that must be our aim, but the quality of learning. Better to learn two verses with understanding, than a whole page with wandering thoughts."
~St. John Cassian
